The Weather is Warming Up, Get Out There!
Penelope movie Just a quick note that the weather is starting to get really nice all along the East Coast of the US and in many other parts of the country. As it heats up, be sure to get out there and enjoy it! I know many of you out in the Midwest are tired of being around all that snow, so once it melts, enjoy a nice hike without the snow shoes!

The Astronaut’s Wife dvd for some great hiking trail descriptions and locations in the VA area. There are a TON of great hikes down in the Southwest Virginia area as well as the Shenandoah Valley.
Another great hiking resource is TrailHeadFinder. The website has a huge database of hikes all around the US and is even linked with Google Maps so that you can see all the available hikes in a certain area as well as descriptions. This is an excellent site to bookmark!
